“A Day in the Life of Lucas”
My name is Lucas, and I’m a 14-year-old student. I live in a small town and I really enjoy my daily routine. I usually wake up at 6:30 in the morning and have breakfast with my parents. My mom makes pancakes on Fridays — they are my favorite!
After breakfast, I brush my teeth, get dressed, and go to school. I take the bus with my best friend, Gabriel. School starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m. I like most subjects, but I especially enjoy English and art classes.
In the afternoon, I do my homework, help my dad in the garden, or play video games if I finish everything. On Wednesdays, I take swimming lessons, and on Saturdays, I ride my bike around the neighborhood.
In the evening, my family and I have dinner together and sometimes we watch a movie or play board games. I usually go to bed at 10 p.m., but on weekends I stay up a bit later.
I don’t have a very exciting life, but I love my routine. It’s full of small things that make me happy.
